# Selling skill

> An Agent Skill that shows your agent how to present Prescience next to other carriers' quotes.

The selling skill is a `SKILL.md` for your agent: when to quote Prescience, how
to present Prescience Diamond and Prescience Value next to other carriers'
quotes, which quote fields to show, what to emphasize and what not to say. It
uses the same criteria as [Fit guidelines](/guides/fit-guidelines).

## Get it

* Download the zip from **Connect your agent** in the partner portal and upload
  it as a skill, or from
  [`/api/partner/v1/mcp/skill`](https://www.getprescience.com/api/partner/v1/mcp/skill)
  (no key needed). Add `?format=md` for the `SKILL.md` alone.
* Over MCP, call the `get_selling_guide` tool, or read the resource
  `prescience://broker/selling-skill`. It is not part of a quote, so it uses your
  agent's context only when it is asked for.

| What not to say | Quote only numbers in the quote; the modeled worst year is not a cap or guarantee; nothing about how prices are set. |
